The photography of the Rein River by Andreas Gursky was recognized as the world’s most expensive photography.

It was sold on Christie’s auction for $4.3 million.

The person who paid a fortune for the photography wished to stay incognito, ITAR-TASS informs.

The panorama “Rhein II” is part of a 6 works series. Four of them are in famous museums like New York Museum Modern Art (MOMA) and London’s Modern Art Gallery Tate Modern.

Gruski is a master of large format panoramic images which are taken from a high point. His pictures have also high quality because he improves them with a computer.
