YEREVAN. – Yury Uzunyan, the son of Samvel Uzunyan—the 1999 Armenian parliamentary tragedy (when several MPs and Government members were killed at the National Assembly) court case judge and currently chief judge at capital Yerevan’s Avan-Nor Nork General Jurisdiction Court—had an automobile accident, Police Force Press Service confirmed. 

Driver Yury Uzunyan, 26, of a VAZ 21214-model car went off road and crashed into a pole, on Sunday in Yerevan. As a result, Uzunyan and his passenger Shavarsh I. received injuries and were transferred to hospital.The driver serves at the MOD.
