YEREVAN. - The ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) has not yet discussed the nomination of a new National Assembly Speaker, RPA MP and Press Secretary Eduard Sharmazanov told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“Such matters are discussed at RPA Council sessions. [And] A discussion has not yet taken place,” he said.
And to the question as to when this discussion would take place, Sharmazanov replied: “The Party has a charter which specifies when a special session is convened.” But he also did not rule out the possibility that the special session could be held in the coming days.
