YEREVAN. – Reflecting on budgetary risks does not mean the budget possesses risks, Armenia’s Finance Minister Vache Gabrielyan stated, during a press conference on Monday, commenting on State Revenue Committee (SRC) Chairman’s statement that the collection of additional taxes is problematic.    

According to Gabrielyan, although reflecting on the risks is a very much accepted approach, these risks are concerns that are conditioned on the macroeconomic context. As per the Minister, these risks either come from the Euro zone, or are linked to the agricultural year. 

To note, SRC Chairman had requested to present those domains from which additional taxes are to be collected.
