YEREVAN. – Deputy head of one of Yerevan police departments Mihran Keshishyan who has been wanted by police surrendered on Monday.
Mihran Keshishyan was charged with bribery receiving $12,000 in exchange for release of a criminal. He is under custody.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, Chief of Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan on Wednesday dismissed the deputy head of Erebuni police department Mihran Keshishyan.
The court decided to detain Keshishyan as a preventive measure, however he escaped from the investigation and remained hidden.
