YEREVAN. – Businesswoman Silva Hambardzumyan has not yet filed a compliant against Syunik Region Governor Suren Khachatryan, spokesperson for attorney general Sona Truzyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

She confirmed the reports that Silva Hambardzumyan was called to Special Investigation Service to give testimony on Tuesday.

Earlier during a press conference businesswoman accused Khachatryan and Ministry of Energy Armen Movsisyan recently by saying that they claimed for her gold mine. At last they took illegally the gold mine belonging to the businesswoman. Besides, Hambardzumyan accuses the Governor for having stolen the equipment.

Witnesses say Suren Khachatryan beat Silva Hambardzumyan at Marriot hotel on Monday.

According to the witnesses, Khachatryan entered the hotel and saw Hambardzumyan. He approached her and started to beat the woman. The businesswoman turned to the Police Chief. Besides, video surveillances of the hotel registered the ‘heroic action’ of the Governor.
