Catherine Ashton, the Vice President of the European Commission and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, will arrive in Armenia’s capital Yerevan for a two-day visit, on Wednesday.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, along the lines of her stay in Armenia, Ashton will be received by President Serzh Sargsyan, and she will also meet with PM Tigran Sargsyan and FM Edward Nalbandian.       

Prior to her visit to Armenia, however, Catherine Ashton will be in Georgia, where she will meet with President Mikheil Saakashvili and FM Grigol Vashadze, Gruzia Online news agency reported.       

To note, Catherine Ashton is paying a visit to the South Caucasus region, and she already visited Azerbaijan, on Tuesday.
