YEREVAN. - Armenia’s banks purchased around US$ 79.7 million and sold $90.6 million, this week, in the interbank foreign currency market, Central Bank of Armenia Public Relations Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
All through this week, the NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange conducted a $16.75 worth of purchase and sale, with an average exchange rate of AMD 384.56 for $1.
Also during the same time period, a $600 thousand worth of purchase and sale was conducted at the interbank market, and with an average exchange rate of AMD 384.17 for $1.
In addition, the bank loans provided between November 7 and 13 comprised 22.4 billion drams (approx. $58,138,900), whereas the Dollar loans constituted $35.2 million.
