YEREVAN. – Another child, who had received burns during a house fire at Gogaran village of Armenia’s Lori Region on November 14, lost his life. He was Gor Gasparyan, 3, the Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Gor Gasparyan was at the intensive care unit of the Center, where he was undergoing therapeutic and external treatment. The boy’s condition was deemed stable, but extremely serious.
To note, Arman Gasparyan, 4, who was under intensive care at the Center for Radiology and Burns, had died on November 18. Arman had undergone a surgery, at the Center on Friday, as a tracheotomy was conducted so he could breathe through a tube. The surgery was performed to improve the boy’s condition and remove the airway edema. The doctors did everything so Arman could breathe on his own again, but the little boy died, on the same day.
Also, Aren Gasparyan, 3, another of the four children victimized by the house fire, had died on November 14, whereas the fourth child, a 6-month-old baby, received light burns and is currently under the care of the village physician.
