YEREVAN. – Everyone has noticed that the ruling coalition’s Rule of Law Party (RLP), and especially its Chairman Arthur Baghdasaryan, who is also National Security Council Secretary, have become more active in recent periods, Hraparak daily writes.

“He, as RLP Chairman and Security Council Secretary, heads to Europe and Russia, attends a variety of conferences, [and] meets with certain personalities and political circles.

On the other hand, he holds regional meetings in Armenia. RLP recently held meetings at Ashtarak, Masis, and Artashat cities, which traditionally are considered to be territories under the influence of [now former Parliament Speaker] Hovik Abrahamyan, and after his resignation [these territories] had become somewhat ownerless. In Artashat, for example, the people were talking that RLP has attacked on Abrahamyan’s territories. And judging from the number of meeting attendees, this attack is being successful,” Hraparak writes.
