YEREVAN. – Senegal’s newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Mamadou Saliou Diouf, whose diplomatic residence is in Moscow, presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan, on Tuesday.
The President congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment. Noting that Armenia underscores cooperation with the African Union, Serzh Sargsyan welcomed the Union’s active member Senegal’s engagement in peacekeeping processes and favoring peace and cooperation.
The interlocutors highlighted the collaboration within international organizations, including francophone associations, which, as per the parties, could become a good background for developing and strengthening bilateral relations.
President Serzh Sargsyan and Senegal’s Ambassador also reflected on regional matters, Presidential Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
