YEREVAN. – Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian, who is in Prague on an official visit, paid a visit to the Czech Senate, on Tuesday, and met with the Senate’s First Vice President, Premysl Sobotka, and other senators, MFA Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

The Czech senators highly evaluated the founding of Armenia’s Embassy in Prague, expressing a hope this would stimulate the further strengthening of relations.

The parties discussed bilateral relations and interparliamentary cooperation. And upon the request of the Czech senators, Armenia’s FM also introduced the primary directions and priorities of the country’s foreign policy.

On the same day, FM Edward Nalbandian addressed the Czech Association for International Affairs, and delivered a comprehensive presentation on Armenia’s foreign policy.

At the end of the day, Armenian FM met, at the Embassy, with representatives of the Czech Republic’s Armenian community organizations. 

Within the framework of his visit, Edward Nalbandian also gave an interview to the leading Czech daily, Lidove Noviny.
