Armenian city mayor at focus of law enforcement - newspaper

YEREVAN. – Actions by Armenia’s Sisian City Hall are at the focus of the country’s law enforcement, Hraparak daily writes.   

“According to our information, the inspections conducted here have exposed serious misuse. According to our sources, the asphalting intended for the city was carried out in areas near the homes of City Hall employees. 

By the way, Sisian’s Mayor is [ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party] PAP member, Aghasi Hakobjanyan. What’s interesting is that the Party is carrying out “charity work” all through the Republic, whereas head of the same party’s regional agency secures his own and his close associates’ wellbeing on the account of state means, and during this crucial pre-election period,” Hraparak writes.
