YEREVAN. – One should not think that Armenian Prime Minister’s work in Republican Party can be carried out at the expense of administrative obligations, MP from ruling Republican Party Artak Zakaryan said at press conference on Thursday.

Answering to journalist’s remark that during a recent business trip to Tavush region PM Tigran Sargsyan organized a Republican Party event, the MP noted that the legislation does not prohibit such activities.

“If the PM spent most of his time and efforts to organize party activities, you would be right to call it improper. But if he holds a party meeting after covering the agenda, there can be no place for reproach. You certainly would not demand that he should return to Yerevan [166km], change the car and return to Berd,” said Zakaryan.
