YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Police Force received a call on Thursday that two unidentified persons had beaten a female sales clerk, at a grocery store in capital Yerevan, and stolen money from the store’s cash register.    

It became apparent that two unidentified persons entered the grocery store, threatened and tugged on the female sales clerk, stole the 100 thousand drams (US$ 282) that were in the cash register, and ran away.     

Operations are underway toward identifying and capturing the offenders. 

The circumstances are being ascertained, and an investigation is launched, Police Force Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
