YEREVAN. – Because of pre-New Year expectations, the US Dollar continued its downward trend at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, on Friday. One dollar’s average exchange rate was AMD 382.99, and it lost a .18-percent value, since Thursday.

At the end of trading, the asking price for $1 reached AMD 383, as well, but it was insufficient. The Dollar could stop weakening, at this phase, and a certain gain in value is possible, too.    

In general, $3.4 million were sold at the stock exchange, on Friday.

And there were no substantial changes at the cash foreign currency market. $1 is purchased at AMD 381-382, and sold at AMD 384-385.
