YEREVAN. - Almost all New York tour packages for recreation zones in Armenia are exhausted for predatory prices, said the President of Rumea Company R. Grigoryan at a press conference on Monday. 

According to him, rest homes and hotels in Tsakhkadzor, Hankavan, Jermuk and Aghveran set astronomical prices for 5-day or one week stay: from AMD 340 thousand to AMD 1 million. The most surprising circumstance is that all the places are already booked.

According to Grigoryan, only few vacant rooms left in Jermuk hotels are expected to be booked soon.

Grigoryan argued that the money Armenians spend for a week in a domestic resort venue will easily suffice for a touristic package to Europe.
