As a result of an Armenian sniper shot, Azerbaijani MOD’s military serviceman Elmar Habibzade, 19, was killed at the Karabakh-Azerbaijani line of contact, in the direction of Tartar, on November 26. This was confirmed by MOD Press Service Deputy Secretary, Teymur Abdullayev.
To note, in response to the loss of its two soldiers, as a result of the adversary’s aggressive operations at the frontline on November 19 and 20, the Armenian side, as it had warned in advance, resorted to punitive operations. And according to the intelligence reports by Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army, in the outcome of the Karabakh forces’ preemptive operations between November 20 and 25, vanguard subdivisions of the Azerbaijani army gave up to seven fatalities and injuries.
To date the Azerbaijani media were not disseminating any information on the soldier who was killed at the line of contact.
