YEREVAN.- Patriarch Ilia II of Georgia has not come to Armenia due to health problems, bishop Natan Hovhannisyan told journalists on Monday.
In fact, the Georgian side did its best to arrange the visit, he said.
“The Georgian side is a guest of the forum, but not a participant, as Georgia is not a CIS member. Patriarch’s participation was not obligatory,” he added.
Yerevan is hosting the session of CIS Inter-religious Council Presidium.
