YEREVAN. – Ruling Republican Party of Armenia has not yet discussed the voting list for the upcoming parliamentary elections, party spokesperson, MP Edward Sharmazanov told Armenian News-NEWS.am commenting to the report that Republican and coalition member Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) are standing for the elections with joint list.

Sharmazanov refused to comment on the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) leader, Armenia’s First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s statement during the ANC recent rally regarding the cooperation offer to PAP.

“I do not comment on projects of other political powers. Please ask the ANC and the PAP. The coalition cooperates very effectively under the leadership of the President Serzh Sargsyan,” the MP said.

He also stated that it is not yet clear whether the parliamentary elections are to be held on May 6. The Central Electoral Commission should fix the date.
