Foreign Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu commented on missile defense systems to be installed in Turkey in response to Russia’s statements.

In his interview to Zaman, the Turkish FM stressed that Russia’s missile defense systems do not threaten Turkey.

“These systems are not defensive. If anybody ventures to attack Russia, let them know about it. These stations are not threatening us,” said Davutoglu, stressing that systems to be set up in Turkey are of no threat to Russia, since they are defensive as well.
