YEREVAN. – Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan met on Tuesday with OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Bernard Fassier, Robert Bradtke, Igor Popov and Personal Representative of OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk.

Bernard Fassier introduced his successor as Minsk Group French co-chair Jacques Faure, MOD press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During the meeting, the Co-Chairs briefed Ohanyan on the Karabakh peace process, stressing importance of adherence to the truce. They noted that the incidents in the line of contact prove the necessity of holding an international investigation.

In turn, Ohanyan presented the situation on the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani troops, noting that the provocation by Azerbaijani snipers causes damage to the efforts of Minsk Group aimed at confidence building between the parties.
