YEREVAN. – Three were killed as a result of an accident at Armenia’s Ashtarak-Etchmiadzin Highway, on Wednesday.

A VAZ 2107-model car crashed into another VAZ 2107, which was parked on the side of the road, and subsequently hit four people who were standing beside the parked vehicle. As a result two of them, namely, Aram Simonyan, 21, and Vahan Sahakyan, 31, died on the spot.           

The other two received injuries and were transferred to hospital, where one of them, Harutyun Mirzakhanyan, 27, likewise lost his life.

An investigation is underway, Police Force Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
