YEREVAN. - Moody’s Rating Agency’s changing of Armenia’s sovereign rating will not have a substantial impact on the country’s economy, the Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan stated on Friday.

To note, on November 25 Moody’s had changed Armenia’s Ba2 sovereign rating prospect from stable to negative.

As per Davtyan, this is a short-term change conditioned on the risks that have emerged in global economy. “There is nothing odd; this is a normal process,” Tigran Davtyan noted.
