Syria has closed consulate in the city of Gaziantep (Ayntab) in Turkey.
A sign saying that the consulate is closed appeared near the entrance, Hurriyet newspaper reports.
The newspaper says no official statement on the issue has been made so far. Police post near the consulate which was established in 2005 is still working , the flag has not been lowered as well.
