YEREVAN. – Armenian parliamentary opposition ARF Dashnakstutyun has not yet decided whether to support authorities or opposition candidate for the post of the Parliament Speaker, ARF MP Artyusha Shahbazyan said to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

 “It is difficult to say, as we have not yet decided,” he said commenting on another parliamentary oppositional Heritage group MP, Larisa Alaverdyan’s candidacy . “We do need time.”

There are two candidates for the Speaker’s post: ruling Republican Party MP Samvel Nikoyan and parliamentary oppositional Heritage group MP, Larisa Alaverdyan. Elections are scheduled for Tuesday.
