YEREVAN. – Armenia’s chief coach for sport shooting Seyran Nikoghosyan does not exclude that International Olympic Committee (IOC) will grant Olympic pass to Armenia’s Yerjanik Avetisyan.

He said that Armenian Shooting Federation relies on the interference of Armenian National Olympic Committee (ANOC), Nikoghosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Armenia has already an experience to get additional pass for the Olympic Games. Three-time world champion and four-time European champion Avetisyan has been representing Russia since 1994. However, she decided to represent Armenia two years ago. Thus, she had to miss all competitions for two years to change the team. She won the first place in European Cup for the Armenian national team in Belgrade this year.
