VILNIUS.- The sides did not manage to achieve progress in the Karabakh talks in 2011, said French European Affairs Minister Jean Leonetti.
Recalling that France is co-chairing state of the OSCE Minsk Group, Leonetti noted that no breakthrough was achieved in talks despite the efforts of the mediators and attempts of the Russian, U.S. and French leaders.
Speaking during the OSCE Ministerial Council, Leonetti expressed hope it would be possible to resume dynamics in 2012, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports from Vilnius. He stressed that it is high time to make a decision using momentum and immediately support the reviewed Madrid Principles on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
