YEREVAN. – Armenian off parliamentary opposition leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s offer to the ruling coalition member party Prosperous Armenia (PAP) is a simple step, which should be linked to the pre-election processes, former Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan said at the Parliament on Tuesday.
“Armenia has already launched pre-election political processes. I believe it is a simple step, which should be linked to the pre-election processes,” he said.
In response to the report whether such cooperation is possible, Abrahamyan advised to ask it the Armenian National Congress (ANC) and PAP.
“Political powers should clarify with which force they are cooperating. I believe there is a coalition, including Republican Party of Armenia, PAP and Orinats Yerkir, and it is real, he stated.
Regarding whether the ANC will get seats in the parliament, Abrahamyan said that it is for people to decide. However, he forecasts that it will get them.
