YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Tatev (“Wings of Tatev”) cableway will not operate on December 12-19 due to transferring to the winter regime.

During the period, the cableway will be equipped with special electronic and mechanical systems to stand Syunik Region’s seasonal changes, director of the cableway Tigran Ghazaryan said to Armenian News-NEWS.am. Conditioned by the weather changes (winds, humidity), seasonal regime changes will be carried out connected with the system management.

Swiss Garaventa-Doppelmayr experts will also carry out annual technical inspection and maintenance work.
