YEREVAN. – Oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) held a political council on Wednesday, during which the details of the demonstration scheduled on Saturday and dedicated to the international day of human rights were discussed.

ANC discussed the current condition of the disaster zone after 23 years of devastating earthquake that occurred on December 7, 1988 in Armenia. Presently 6,300 families still live in temporary houses, while local governors live in luxury, stressed the opposition.

The political council assigned the economic commission of the Congress to develop a comprehensive plan for the disaster zone in a short time.
