A terrorist attack at the facility of defense company Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS) near Ankara killed three people: 14 people were wounded, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said.

“Two terrorists were neutralized in a terrorist attack targeting Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAS) in Ankara, Kahramankazan. Unfortunately, the terrorist attack killed 3 people and injured 14,” Yerlikaya wrote on social network X, promising to ”continue the fight until the last terrorist is neutralized.”

According to Turkish media, the company TUSAS is a manufacturer of engines for the Turkish defense industry.

Explosions and gunshots were reported at the company's facility, which was invaded by armed men. The head of the country's Interior Ministry called what happened a “terrorist attack”.
