YEREVAN. – Lebanon is grateful to Armenia for its continuous support and for defending Lebanon’s just matters in the international arena, Lebanese President Michel Suleiman stated during Friday’s joint press conference with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

Suleiman, who is in Armenia on an official visit, noted that during the talks between the presidents of both countries, they discussed the two peoples’ current friendly and cooperation-based relations as well as the present-day regional and international developments.  

Lebanon’s President also underscored the cooperation documents—that is, agreements, memoranda of understanding, and practical projects—that were signed on Friday.

Suleiman also thanked President Serzh Sargsyan for his special and warm conduct, informing that he invited Armenia’s President to Lebanon.
