YEREVAN. – Although Friday saw no foreign currency trading at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, the US Dollar was offered at a lower rate than Thursday.

On Friday, US$ 1 was offered at AMD 383.25, in the case when Thursday’s average rate was AMD 383.73. So, even though no transactions were conducted at the stock exchange on Friday, the Dollar is weakening.

And at the cash foreign currency market, the exchange offices have so far lowered one dollar’s purchase rate until AMD 381, but, just like on Thursday, it is still sold at AMD 384.
