Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Evika Silina of Latvia on the latter’s the Independence Day anniversary. The message states as follows, in part:

"Armenia values relations with Latvia, which are based on common values and mutual trust.

I would like to reaffirm the interest and commitment of the government of the Republic of Armenia in further deepening cooperation with Latvia in areas of mutual interest.

Armenia values Latvia's willingness to contribute to the deepening of the Armenia-EU partnership, as well as your country's constant support for the process of democratic reforms underway in Armenia."
