YEREVAN. – An explosion with subsequent fire occurred in the garage of a home in the Armenian capital Yerevan, on Sunday. 

Two firefighting squads were dispatched to the scene, and the fire was extinguished.  

It became apparent that the explosion had occurred because of a leakage in the natural gas tank of a vehicle. As a result, the garage belonging to A. Geghamyan, 48, and the Lincoln, which was parked in it, were destroyed by fire.

Also, A. Geghamyan and H. Geghamyan, 22, received burns and were transferred to hospital. According to physicians, the injured are in average condition, Ministry of Emergency Situations informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
