YEREVAN. - Taking pre-election bribe is a sin just as giving bribe, ruling Republican Party MP, businessman Manvel Badeyan said at a press conference on Monday.

He made an interesting confession. It turned out that he was offered a pre-election bribe amounting to AMD 5000 ($14) during the latest parliamentary elections in order to vote for a certain candidate.

According to Badeyan, he took the bribe but voted for a different candidate. MP advised the same to the voters noting that each person should choose independently how to struggle against pre-election bribe.
