YEREVAN. – The US Dollar’s exchange rate against the Armenian Dram (AMD) is falling more quickly towards the New Year. 

On Monday, one dollar’s average exchange rate was AMD 381.82 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange.

To note, no trading was conducted at the stock exchange on December 9, and, in comparison with December 8, the Dollar lost value by virtually AMD 1.

In general, $5.4 million were sold at the stock exchange, on Monday.

In the cash foreign currency market, $1 can be purchased at AMD 383, and the exchange offices are buying $1 at AMD 380-381.
