Are there any possibilities for the evacuation of RA citizens and population of Armenian nationality?

There is currently no possibility of safe evacuation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs [off Armenia] is carefully following the developments; all options will be considered if possible.

During this time, the [RA] embassy [in Damascus] answers all the calls of the RA citizens, questions, including about document provision, issuance of new passports.

Constant contact is maintained with the respective bodies and [Armenian] community organizations of Syria.

Is the RA Consulate General in Aleppo still operating?

Te RA Consul General in Aleppo continues his work from Damascus. As it was reported last week, this is due to the fact that the consul general, having left for Damascus on November 26 to receive the credentials from the Syrian MA, was unable to return to Aleppo.

There is currently no data confirming the RA citizenship of Yervant Arslanian, who died while trying to leave Aleppo on November 30.
