The Syrian embassy in Armenia is not giving any comments regarding the events taking place in Syria.

Armenian News-NEWS.am tried to get some comments from the embassy regarding the situation in Syria.

But we were informed that the Syrian ambassador to Armenia cannot give any comments at this time in that regard.

"We cannot say anything in connection with the situation [in Syria] yet," said the embassy.

Rebels captured Syria's capital Damascus on Sunday. And Syrian President Bashar al-Assad managed to flee to Russia with his family and is now in Moscow. Russia has given him asylum.
