Stable relations between China and the European Union (EU) are in the shared interests of both sides, Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi said at a conference on the international situation and Chinese diplomacy.
"Europe is one of the important directions of Chinese diplomacy. Healthier and more stable relations between China and the EU correspond to the fundamental interests of both sides and the shared expectations of the world," said the Chinese foreign policy chief.
