YEREVAN. – Armenia’s political agenda is limited only to normalizations of Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenian-Turkish relations, and never mentions Armenia’s regional role, deputy chairman of Free Democrats Anush Sedrakyan said during the discussion on Wednesday summing up the political year.
“Is Armenia going to be the same not important and dependent state? Our party pays importance to the issue of independence,” she stated adding that when we speak about powerful army it is unacceptable not to turn to the recent scandals in the army
Sedrakyan believes Armenia’s first problem is transparency policy, which is impossible to settle if political powers are not willing to.
Besides, personnel changes do not guarantee system changes.
“If we continue to exclude people’s participation in state processes both by the authorities and the opposition, we would face total emigration,” Sedrakyan concluded.
