YEREVAN. – In Venice, Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan attended official opening of the “Armenia: The Stamps of Civilization” Exhibition, which is devoted to 500th anniversary of Armenian typography.
President Sargsyan thanked all those who contributed to the organizing of this exhibition, and also the Correr Museum, which is one of the world’s most renowned museums, for hosting this event.
After the official opening, Armenia’s President visited the Saint Mark’s Basilica and listened to Armenian spiritual songs.
Serzh Sargsyan will also host a formal banquet, at Correr Museum, which will bring together the armenologists who arrived in Italy to take part in the “Armenia: The Stamps of Civilization” Exhibition, Presidential Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
