The majority of American citizens are dissatisfied with the work of US President Joe Biden, who will transfer power to Republican Donald Trump on January 20, according to the results of a poll conducted by Fox News.
Accordingly, 57% of respondents do not approve of Biden's performance as president. Another 42% of the respondents said that they approve of the results of his activities, and 1% of the respondents could not answer this question.
According to the poll, the approval rating of Biden's work by Americans was lower than the assessment of the work of 44th US President Barack Obama (57%) and the 42nd US President Bill Clinton (62%). Trump also outperformed Biden at the end of his first term, with 47% of Americans giving him an approval rating. But Biden's approval rating was higher than that of 43rd President George W. Bush (34%).
The poll was conducted between January 10 and 13, with more than 900 Americans across the country, and its margin of error was 3 percentage points.
