Turkish defense giant Aselsan on Thursday said it has signed a $21.3 million international deal with a client operating in the Middle East and Africa region, Anadolu reported.

The deal includes the export of military communication systems, the company said in a statement published on Turkey's public disclosure platform (KAP). The name of the customer was not disclosed.

Aselsan, headquartered in the Turkish capital Ankara, was founded in 1975 and has become one of the country's largest defense firms, ranking “among the top 100 in its field worldwide,” Turkish media said.
