YEREVAN. – After its slow value gain at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, in the past several days, the exchange rate of one US dollar surpassed AMD 383.

One Dollar’s exchange rate constituted AMD 383.01 on Wednesday, and thus it gained value by 0.13 percent, in comparison with Tuesday.   

$5.5 million were sold at the stock exchange on Wednesday.

The growth in the Dollar’s exchange rate, at the stock exchange, also reflected on Armenia’s cash foreign currency market. The exchange offices currently purchase $1 at a maximum of AMD 382, and sell at AMD 384 or AMD 385.
