YEREVAN. - Consumer confidence index (CCI) in Armenia decreased during the fourth quarter of this year, Central Bank of Armenia statement reads. The index decreased by 5.3% compared to the analogical period of last year, while it decreased by 9.1% compared to the previous quarter.

The index is formed by population survey on life conditions and expectations for future.

Armenians estimated current conditions a bit higher, by 2.4%, compared to late summer and early fall. However, housewives are expecting to get significantly less income in the next quarter. Expectations decreased by 17.2%.
