YEREVAN. – In January-November 2001, Armenia’s state budget was fulfilled with around a 38.1-billion-dram (AMD) deficit, thereby comprising a mere 39 percent of the annual plan, the Ministry of Finance informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

By and large, this low level in the budget deficit is conditioned by the fact that, instead of the previewed AMD 62.6 billion, a mere AMD 24.5 billion was used from the budget’s annual plan.   

And the budget deficit was fully financed on the account of domestic sources.

To note, US$ 1 is equal to AMD 383, at present.
