YEREVAN. – Even though Armenia’s Finance Minister Vache Gabrielyan had decided to save money on the toys to be placed on the Ministry’s Christmas tree and [therefore] instructed the employees to bring two toys each from their homes to decorate the Christmas tree, he gave fairly sizable bonus pays to the employees, in connection with the New Year, and the employees are happy, Hraparak daily writes.       

“According to the information we have received, the Ministry’s department chiefs, for example, have received a bonus pay of one million drams [approx. US$ 2,595],” Hraparak writes.
