YEREVAN. – The tender for oil and gas exploration in the second territorial conditional block in Armenia is postponed, Armenian Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The tender was announced on Nov. 25 last year and the results would have been summed up on Dec. 27. The commission has selected two applications and decided to make the final decision after Jan. 15.

The preliminary estimated resources of oil in three areas make 21 million cubic meters, while on gas about 1.4 billion cubic meters. General preliminary recoverable oil resources in two depressions make 30.3 cubic meters and on gas 11.9 billion cubic meters.
